Bebop for Babies! kids deserve hip music too

	Because kids deserve hip music too! Bebop for Babies was born out of Jeannette Lambert’s quest for music that mixed the spontaneity of jazz sensibilities and great kids' songs. The band members are all great jazz players so the level of musicianship is high and the music is performed with joy and respect. Jeannette says "Knowing how children love repetition, I wanted to create music for kids that the entire family could enjoy together. These are songs that we all love as well. Performing them as if they were jazz standards, that just came naturally." In the past our group performed at the Rochester Jazz Festival and the London International Children's Festival where all of our concerts were sold-out. This month you can hear us at the Jazz Sudbury Festival on September 12, or if you are lucky your teacher might be taking you to JazzFM's Jazz for Kids series in Toronto on September 11. Otherwise, maybe you need to download some of our music from iTunes so you can dance along at home.	We performed some great concerts with JJ and Theo joining us on stage. And thanks to all the kids who came and jammed with us too!
